Landed at EDI yesterday and saw on stand a globespan 737-800 in blue livery.

Anyone know what this is all about as to date RED has been the colour of all logo type etc, etc...

Think it was on lease to another airline over the winter - Oman Air i think.

Looks quite nice.

I also saw it arriving at Edinburgh yesterday lunch time (lucky to work under the flight path for EDI - so can spot from my desk).:):):)

I think the blue looks better, smarter.
Especially for a Scottish airline! :ok:

Actually having seen it again on Thursday morning but this time up-close and personal it's not blue but more a cross between dark olive and turquoise.

GSMScot should know the reason...

Hello All,

The aircraft recently returned from a 1 year lease with Oman Air - as was correctly stated by someone else.

It was painted in the hybrid livery for quickness I presume, before it entered service at the begining of May.
