Today at 1200, while taking off from CDG I saw an Alitalia A321 surrounded by several fire trucks.
It was leaning sideways and the main left gear was well into the grass west of twy N.
Anyone heard anything on the news?

Seems to happen quite often lately. There was a North African carrier (?) in CDG in the gras a few months ago.

Maybe the pope wanted to see the bunnies close up.

Even the Pope doesn't know Alitalia still exist. Saw him getting off an El Al 777 in Ciampino yesterday!

Seriously, if there is one place you want to stay off the grass it is CDG and precisely because of the bunnies. I have never seen so many of them in one place and bunnies tend to live in holes in the ground. There must be lots of these holes at CDG.
