Virgin and the A380/B747-8

Could anyone out there tlel me which airports Virgin Atlantic currently fly to that could handle either the A380 or B747-8?

Heathrow, Sydney, Washington-Dulles, New York, Dubai, Los Angeles are a few.

I’ve been thinking about whether the A380 or B747-8 is the best option for Virgin in the distant future. Times are tough at the moment but soon enough VS will be looking at replacing their 747-400's and as the a380's are still deferred there is a possibility of a strategy change. IIRC VS were talking to Boeing and Airbus last year about buying aircraft to replace the LGW/MAN fleet. The top choices seemed to be more a380's or B747-8's. I was wondering if both aircraft could operate to all the airports VS operate to or for example would they both struggle in the Caribbean? What are the airport capabilities like on both these aircraft?

I thought 1) A380 were already ordered and 2) 747-8 was dead?

They keep pushing the A380s further back down the production line though. TBH, I can see the order being cancelled or swapped to A350XWBs.

Similarly I can't see them going for the 748. More likely 787-9s or 787-10s
