ive heard of 'em

Yip several xl's and a couple 406's. You go to some hell holes and get probably 30k starting and should be double after a wee while. all a daily rate, accomodation and transport payed for as usual.

2 crew survey ops flying long hours. And in some ****ake holes aswell, you could get shot at in africa, or you could get laid in canada all depends on where you get posted. If you get on with the big cheese it can be good times, if your on his bad side it can be awfully difficult for you. You will be expected to work 365days if necessary, though they have a 2mnth on 1 off roster, convenience may result in a double stint and half holiday. in short, a job for a single guy.

Good hours. BUT now with the recession they, like most survey companies at the mo, are probably a bit slow and work could be scarce.

Whilst havin a beer with one of their lads I enquired as to whom is PIC when their flying 2 crew VFR in a certified single-crew machine.

He said they have a dispensation from the feds to both log it as PIC:rolleyes:

Is that the company that grew out of the 'Farmers' biz in NZGS??? If it is, hard task master but a pretty good bugger. Or is the boy running it?

Remember seeing the wingtip of a Fletcher or Cresco - hazy memory - whistle thru the long grass between vectors @ GS on a lazy Summer's day many moons ago!
