aviance - bmibaby, manx 2, continental, austrian airways, cyprus air, globespan and flybe(diversions from BHD) might have missed 1 or 2..

servisair - jet2 and thomas cook... as well as cargo (TNT, bmibaby and Aer Lingus) most charters/diversions will also be handled by servisair

menzies - easyJet, Aer Lingus and Dubrovnik airlines

prob missed a couple

thats what i thought, but aviance pushed a flybe off stand 11 the other day.. unless aviance will handle them during certain hours, and they loaded up an austrian airways a few months ago, must be some of the contracts they won from servisair

Surely some of these operators no longer exist or fly into Belfast. Does anyone have an up to date Servisair list re 2009

Thanks

tigger2k8
25th May 2009, 02:32
if you want a more up-to-date list i suggest contacting servisair... only thing i have noticed is:

Air Malta seems to now operate from BHD (unless they have mixed the airports up which is unlikely)
Air transat has no available flights in june/july (tried some random dates, might have picked unlucky days..), doesnt say if its full or not operating..
Spanair isnt showing any available flights
Croatia airlines has no bookable flights but has been in BFS 3 or 4 times now
CSA has no flights on website

Fergie, the list Alpha one provide is completely accurate! A/C based in Belfast which s'air handle include 1xTCX 320, 1xTOM 320 and 2xLS 737's. Down on last years based a/c due to less demand (credit crunch), LS had 757 and TCX had 2x 320's. 757 will prob return when things look up hopefully!
UPS and TNT have daystoppers and one of LS 737's is converted to freight for Royal mail at night. The others on the list are not BFS based but they do make regular appearances, some might depend on season
:ok:

Heard a rumour that TNT is going self handling in the autumn
Not good for Servisair...

Also
They are getting rid of the A300 and using a B767 instead
Apparently the 767 belongs to a lessor known US freight carrier
and will operate a similar set-up to the UPS / Maersk operation.

Anybody got any more info on this?

bfsalphaone
30th May 2009, 10:06
Yes, TNT will be operating the 767 from around October, as the A300's are going due to high cost maintenance that is due.

A few of the A300's have already gone and they are being replaced with Icelandair 757, ABX Cargo 767 and Kalitta Air 747, so far only operating from other TNT stations.

TNT have no plans to go self handling in BFS, this has been a rumour for how many years now??

Thanx for the info...and yes the rumours round this place
are terrible...you don't know what to believe.
