Hi guys
anybody knows if the second md11 will enter on service with ethiopian. I mean, I know they are using the 1st from the beginning of the year and they had the intentions to lease a second one. Is the leasing confirmed or they're only rumors?

They are due to receive the second MD11 in early August. Crew recruiting currently underway.

Twasnt too long ago that the airline had spare room for training like all wannabes on the old continent. Those were times of the Lion of The Tribe of Judah and the Elect of God. Even Colonel Mengistu and the "revolutionaires" presided over the ideal for at least a decade before economic realties {read, growth}, started changing things. Mind you, am not arguing that progress isnt welcome. It's just that one finds himself harking back to the old days, ocassionally....:{
