Chalkie Stobart left this morning at 01:06 from the Signature Hangars in Cape Town in his Ospery GP4 to attempt to break the 70-year old record set by Alex Henshaw in 1939! Chalkie is aiming to knock a full day off the current record!

We wish him all the best with this immense challenge!
