Hi can anyone please advise if a VAT refund is available if you are operating crew out of LHR. I am non resident in the EU.... Thanks:

Next question, How to claim.
At LHR we go through the separate control post outside the terminal, and dont see a customs officer.
Would it be possible to go out early and get the paperwork stamped in the terminal, then go out through the passenger lane to the gate?

Not possible, you can only go through the passenger system with a valid boarding card. You will probably find the VAT office landside of security which would allow you to get your paperwork stamped but then you would have to make your way to the crew security check and wait for the rest of your crew there before passing through security and going airside.

Don't know about other terminals, but at T1, once you've gone through staff search, head up to the International departure lounge and the Travelex desk by Boots processes VAT refunds.
