or do you think I am being unkind...and that there really is some apple love sweet heart pie out there for me?

Hell, why not? Give it a go, it is probably the best offer you'll get today. Watch out for the big hands and adam's apple before it goes too far though.

If you do the occasional bit of chairty work... Then why draw any attention to it all anyway, the keyword being 'occasional' perhaps...?! I regularly feed stray pudicats and have drawn attention to the fact here. But in practice and as I've learned to do, if you do (feed stray pudicats), the best policy is to keep a very low-profile indeed. The reasoning behind that are all the complaints I've had from 2nd hand sources (by the mainly ignorant or else merely despiteful) that take issue over the leftovers. By feeding 'stray cats' hereabouts, one also apparently voluntarily falls foul of municipal laws concerning 'encouraging vermin, including pigeons, rats and other unidentifiable creatures that only come out when it's dark'...?!

Whatever, when or if it finally becomes legal over here, as it is in much of the USA today, I shall buy that semi-automatic assault rifle and be doing my own fair share of 'responsible management'. :uhoh: :ok:

Sorry to rain on your parade, but I thought the point being made was how scammers are now using all sorts of sites, etc, to try and get victims. The OP got the message because of a profile on a website, and it should be a warning to others that these  are now using all sorts of methods to try and get the gullible to pay out.

I keep getting strange women trying to call me on Skype. The spam blocking on my e-mail account captures all sorts of people trying to sell me viagra, insurance, penis expanders, pension advice, incontinence pants, university degrees, fake watches and lord only knows what else.

Its the internet; a bit like taking a stroll down the dodgier parts of town. I have fond memories of Arkwright Street in Nottingham but I wouldn't wander down there these days. ;)
