Who has the real fact from the guys? No judgment. No BS. Just facts if that is possible..

The facts are that both 'events' are under appeal. It would be unwise to discuss specific details or even hearsay on a public forum until a final outcome has emerged. For the sake of the crews involved at the very least.

Hopefully then, full details will be made available so that we can actually start to learn from our own errors. Not just those of the pilots, but all the holes in the swiss cheese which lined up on both days.

Responsibility of safety does not rest solely with the flight crew.

I agree BYMONEK, this is better discussed elsewhere. Remember that speaking out of school around here can get you on a permanent flight home. Having said that, we've all heard the rumors, but it would be nice to know the fact. I doubt if they will ever come out though.

Of course gents there is a private EK forum for Emirates folks, perfect for keeping things inhouse if and when necessary.

Nice to hear that BYMONEK
