View Full Version : NJME/NAS - Unpaid April Salaries

Unpaid in Jeddah
3rd May 2009, 14:58
Hello Everybody, I'm new here.

It seems like no one at NJME and the whole Jeddah operation has been been paid for April. :{

Is this also the case for Nasair and the other Riyadh based staff as well? Or is it purely a Jeddah phenomenon?

Does anyone have any ideas when or if we will be paid?

These are indeed very worrying times.

Not impressed indeed, these people absolutely waste money like it has no end and then don't pay us while they demand premium performance.

True, Things are tough at the moment

You mention that you are glad you left.......
Over the last 2 years I believe there is one person who left this company voluntarily, and he left on good terms. All the rest left after tea and biscuits in the office.

Maybe DK was not such an idiot to ship you back out of this place.

Guys!!

Here in RUH we are NOT PAID also!!!!

Latest update, we might get paid latest by 06May/Wednesday.

This scenario was not suprising as the company was unable to pay other vendors!!!!

Also it was unofficial that Pilots and FA's were paid as the company is scared that they might not operate if they will involved them in delaying their salaries.

Let's cross our finger that we will get paid....:{

I was paid on time and for the correct amount, but I am on the NAS side, not NJME.

We at "NMJE" have two CEO's and one Deputy CEO and yet havent heard a thing from any of those   managers. Seems that DK is left holding the baby as they all scuttle. Big ups to him for facing up to someone elses shirked responsibilities.
The park brakes will be on very soon if no money. Then it will become an issue with the owners.

Very Disconcerting that Jeddah crews are being hungout to dry. Even worse is the news that non-aircrew at both cities are not being paid.

(ex-Nutjeter:- You did not leave!.. you were terminated. There have been no voluntary resignations.!. We can all safely assume that you, like the other 3 or 4 on the short list were terminated for ineptitude or theft. Hence the sour grapes. Spend your time in self reflection rather than being a pathetic wannabe on this forum).

I agree, a Big :ok: to D.K. who is single handedly managing a nasty situation with absolutely ZERO support.

Fingers crossed, NAS/NJME can get back on track again soon.

Are you guys still getting 100$ per day Per diem? Or do you just get your per diem when you fly? Sorry next guestion? Are you still on 35 days and 31 off?

17004,
Yes, no, yes.
To others:
At the end of the day, no matter what is said, we still have jobs, would rather have a few small glitches, than one big one.
Agree, Kudos to those that go out of their way to keep things sane.

17004, If what you said in your post is true then that is perhaps why there is an apparent shortage of cash.
With 35 on and 31 off the crew resources must be far in excess of what they really need, not to mention 100 bucks per day per-diems.

That kind of thing is unsustainable in the long term. Good luck with it.

Desertopsguy,

If you are talking about the fractional owner part of the company, NJME, then it in the best way to crew the aircraft, crews are available 24 hours a day and ALL of their salary/expenses are paid by the fractional owners.

However, from an airline point of view with duty hours, it cant be sustainable.

I wonder if this is be the proverbial "straw that broke the camels back" that will force NetJets to split from NAS.

Does the company pay you you're per diem in advance or do you use you own credit card then get re-embursed?

Spanked
11th May 2009, 14:44
They pay it every month, you don't need a credit card.

An off topic question:

Do they consider a JAA licence or do you need to have a FAA licence to get in???

I like to know if i want to apply in the future.

anybody knows?

FlyingOrange

You are sooooo cutting!!!! No Chief Pilot Job for you!!!!

As for the Question... they take most licences. But at the moment NAS recruitment is on HOLD.

Rumour on Street is that NJME lost $10,000 every time they got airborne last year and that side of operation may soon close.

But the good part is that they do treat you well when they close an operation ... ask the Al Kayala crews!!!

I need a gin!!

FAA is the one you need.

The Saudi Gov has pledged their support for the company to the tune of 200million SAR (53.3 USD). The money is a loan to be paid back but interest free.

Anyone care to speculate on what it will be used for?

SAMA got the same deal, both companies also got the "preferred local" fuel price for the next 6 months!
