Does anyone know anything about the Indian Aviation Academy with its headquarters in India and the Flight Center in UAE. If I could get some info on salary, students, management, contracts, accommodation, etc., it will be appreciated.

The IAA academy is situated in Ras Al Khaimah. It's at RAK airport, close enough to another academy known as DAEFA. Not many students due to training issues. Most of them are trying to leave and get their money back from IAA. IAA trains upto a Commercial Pilots License. All students will get a GCAA CPL license upon completion which can be converted by giving a few simple exams in the country you wish to work. Since its Indian based, its even simpler as the course is equivalent to a DGCA rating. IAA operates ONLY Cessna aircrafts (single and multi engine piston). Their proposed time of completion is about 8 months charging upto 20,00,000 Indian National Rupees which includes accomodation. The training is approved by Virgin Atlantic Airline as well. For more information, visit IAA Homepage (http://indianaviationacademy.com/index.htm)

CptOverRoger (http://www.pprune.org/members/296107-cptoverroger), I'm sorry if my question was not worded properly. What I am trying to find out exactly is working condition as I am applying to work there as a Flight Instructor.

Less or no students mean that you SHOULD NOT go there! BTW, can you let me know what job package, salary, etc. were they offering? Please PM if you don't feel like sharing the info here. Thanks a lot.
