G'day All,

I was wondering what sort of information, apart from a bare list of location four-letter codes (e.g. YBBN Brisbane), is in the ICAO 7910 Location Indicators book? Some places on the Interweb imply that Lat/Lon is provided, and that nav aids (not just airports) are included. Can anyone here enlighten me? I'd rather not pop US$100+ just to find out.

Cheers
Chris

7910 contains the country codes (ie the first two letters of the location indicator), then an alphabetical list of location and its corresponding location indicator and IATA code if applicable, a decode listing each location indicator and the corresponding location and IATA code and finally a list of centres in charge of FIRs.
There is no lat/long information or navaid data at all.
The US NOAA website has a downloadable list of aerodromes with ICAO code and positional information at Meteorological Station Location Information (http://weather.noaa.gov/tg/site.shtml) though I do not know how up to date it is (ICAO uopdate the 7910 every 4 months or so).

Thanks for that. I gathered that this would be the case.
