Did you ever read TVGoHome (http://www.tvgohome.com/) ?

Unfortunately it came to a halt in 2003, but there is an archive if you are a fan of Mr Brooker's material. Highly recommended - but some language and images could be NSFW.

Screenburn also in the Guardian Guide on Saturdays.

Think he is a genius myself, and seems to get genuinely angry but sees the absurdities of the media(even though part of it himself) very clearly.

The Newswipe a couple of weeks ago that focussed on the G20 protests was very illuminating, and should be watched by everybody on the Ian Tomlinson who believe(from television and newspaper reports at the time) that the whole thing was just a bunch of rioters and anarchists causing mayhem

The reality was something different, the Sky Boat was somewhat hilarious though!
