I believe that if the company really wants to move on and get the help it say's it needs from the pilot group, then the above mentioned manangers from flight ops should do the proper thing and resign.

The facts; These indiviuals have brought shame on themselves, the company and the pilot group as a whole. Our Cos's have been violated in every way shape and form. Multiple lawsuits have been filed to defend our contracts. These individuals are asking that we let them violate our Cos's then help out and then sign a new Cos. NR has blatantly disregarded our Cos's and refuses to accept what he has done or even acknowledge it. RH continues to do nothing except ask us to help Flight Ops now without fixing the mess that his predecessor made, this was supposed to be his job. Again, what did he do at Dragon Air, ask the Dragon folks what they think. Then there is CD. If ten people walked into her office (what VERY FEW times she is actually there), they would walk out with ten different answers. And we thought her predecessor, AL was bad.

They have ALL interpreted ways around our Cos's and ways to violate them. We have so many different pay scales, deals etc...that I think they are even confused. CD has a copy of the basings policy on her desk to refer to because she does not really understand herself.

If a group of employees keeps suing you for their contracts it's time to get rid of the problem(s) not keep putting bandaids on a wound that needs surgery.

Now is the time for CX/Swire to act. If you really want/need our help and want to move on and make the "Same Team, Same Dream" work, then you need to ask these individuals to step down.

We are now simply being asked to continue with business as usual. This is just another example of how this company conducts business. Let's put behind us the fueling hedges, the cargo colussion charges and the bad blood between the company and it's employees. Let's fix it FOR REAL this time. Flight Ops needs a real change.

I couldn't agree with you more.
This is a real mess , it's the worst i've ever felt since I joined .

It must of been worse in '99, at least it was clear cut then , sign or be fired ...this is just one monstrous c##k up .

I can't keep up with what is what and what is not.I get dizzy reading all the dribble and contradictions.I find it quite astonishing that it is actually still on the table and that they are trying to pull this off .

I'm saying no to all of it ...

With respect to CD

I refer to lots of manuals regularly, only memory items are from recall, I recall.

Give her a break, she is doing the job she is paid to do. Don't shoot the messenger.

I know CD personally, she is fully aware of the impact her participation in labour tribunals has against us, yet she is a loyal Swire employee who has even managed to help water down her own husbands contract.

The mind boggles?

Her participation in Labour Tribunals helps us win them due her incompetence:ok:
