Hello,

I was just wondering how everyone became civil pilots and which routes they have taken to get there. As I am only in Year 10 I would be very interested to here which subjects they have done and how they paid for all the training. Also, did anyone join through the RAF??

Worked three jobs to pay for my flying lessons, flight instructor for awhile, commuter airline captain for awhile, corporate flight division manager, then moved directly into the LHS of a heavy jet.
No military training whatsoever.
A hard road at times, but worth the effort, absolutely.
