Where does one find study material for a conversion from FAA ATPL to a HKG ATPL? How many exams are there and how do you best prepare?

Seems that even though there is no hiring going on at the moment, this would not be a bad way to spend some down time if CX is where I want to go in the future.

Cheers.

Not sure about the FAA ATPL. ICAO ATPL holder's don't need to sit any exams.

Just a simple case of filling in some CAD forms regarding your previous flying history & if you meet the requirements your issued a HK ATPL.

If you really wish to work for CX ask around about how CX management are currently treating the pilot body with changing work contracts.

You may then reconsider working here.

Understood. Thanks for the advice. I'm not hoping to go to CX any time soon, but I'm trying to look well into the future and need to have some goal in mind or I may as well give up flying. :ugh:
