Does anyone have any information about this short film?
It was produced for BOAC around 1970-72 to celebrate the introduction of the B747-136 into service.
There was no narration, just amazing air-to-air photography of one of Mr. Boeing's finest in one of the classiest liveries ever applied to aeroplanes.
I seem to remember T. Scott-Chard (PR Officer?) being among the end credits.

Is this the one?

AirlineTV.net - BOAC Boeing 747-136- (http://www.airlinetv.net/view_video.php?viewkey=b89b0585260b6f2360bd)

It takes a minute or two to download and play.

taxydual,
Sadly, that's not it.
From what I can remember, it was entirely air-to-air shots, similar to the stock footage that was used on 'Top Of The Pops' when 'Leaving On A Jet Plane' was in the charts.
The soundtrack for this film was some sort of 1970s funky instrumental music.
I thought the film might emerge through the 'British Airline Classics' series, but it never did.

Props

As this is a nostalgia thread may I mention Scott Chard was a keen member of the Airways Aero Club at Denham in 48-49.
We only had one aeroplane, a Miles Magister G_AKKY.
