Anyone seen any sign of Air Tanzania operating these days? If so - which airplanes 737 or A320?

Neither 737 nor A320...but 2 dash 8.
Sim evaluations currently underway for A320 TZ drivers maybe that will shed you some light...:suspect:

They ARE flying. We see their airplanes around.

Precision Air looks to be doing much better. They fly feed for Kenya Airways, who is supported by Air France/KLM/DAL/NWA. They are advertising for 3 ATR capts and 6 ATR FOs, and are talking about getting more 737s.

Hi Character,
We actually did the assessment on the B737-800 sim for the A320 training if you know what i mean. It was just a matter of grading ATC pilots, e.g how good we are flying New Generation Aircrafts. But we got a chance to sit in the A320 sim when its fully ON even though we didn't fly it. What a nice toy!

N.B: I'm beginning to doubt my name B737 lover, maybe i might have to change it to Airbus lover or Benz lover as the primary name.

For what its worth,

ATC should keep it Boeing this would mean less training required for crews who are already familiar with Boeing aircraft. Which eventually translates to less over all cost of the operation.

So just remember this one a wise man once said "If it Ain't a Boeing I Ain't a Going!!!!!!" :E Couldn't have said it better myself!!!

Happy flying Boat Boys:ok:

I feel the need to add my two shillings worth. I thought i was a boeing fan as well but ...i must admit airbus is definately my choice of airliner. Just the airbus logic and flightdeck ergonomics won me over !

Congratulation for becoming an Instructor on the Dash. For some of us its a nightmare. I think its about time for us to pack our belongings and flee for greener pasture.

Hi Cliff - seen you floating around on FlightInfo and APC too. I see you're in Africa these days. Could you do me a favor please. What is the CRJ gig out there. With that last sentence alone you've probably figured out what batch of US pilots I'm in!

Thx.
