Hi all,

Don't know if anyone can help ... and no, it's not a fetish, honestly!

I run a amateur dramatics theatre company in Staffordshire, and we will shortly be staging a play called "Club Class" by Harry Denford. A very funny comedy, the play calls for the cast (four people) to be dressed as flight attendants - two males, two females.

Does anyone know of any airlines that may be prepared to loan/hire out uniforms, either current or old? Have tried a few (Fly BE, Monarch, etc) but all came back with a no - perhaps understandable in today's security conscious climate.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received. And just to be awkward, a blue colour would be ideal!

Thanks in advance.

PS Mods please feel free to move to a more suitable forum if you deem applicable!

Airlines would not be allowed to loan/lend uniforms - purely security based.

Not just the current climate - it's always been that way.....

Its really not that difficult to get "the look" - for a female that is.

Pencil skirt & blazer (without the city-girl pin stipes) and you are 80& there. Helps if you can get a colour that isn't black - perhaps navy blue.

barely-black tights. 3 inch stiletto heels. And a wings badge/lapel perhaps from a pilot shop - only a few quid i'd imagine.

a nice little scarf for the neck. Hair tied back and up. Inch thick makeup and to-die-for red lipstick.

for the blokes - it will be difficult. as you would want the same colour as the girls. trousers and the waist coat.

but definitely uniforms have never been loaned out. Even fancy dress shops don't /shouldn't have a uniform that resembles a live uniform.

we are not even allowed to wear them out for a party - lets say private use for a fancy dress party

We are in the process of changing our uniform and have been told under no circumstances are we allowed to keep the old uniform, it has to be returned and destroyed!

So Im guessing the chances of you getting any airline to loan a uniform will be a no go!
