Sad to see in this weeks Flight International that BWIA, the last of the first tier TriStar operators, are to let them go. I look forward to seeing the A340's in the colourful BWIA paintjob, but will miss the once familiar L1011-500's at Heathrow <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Has the Guv got his bid in first to relieve BWIA of their -500's <img src="eek.gif" border="0">

His last post was 14th January. Danny gave him a b0llocking for cutting and pasting news stories. Danny had received "correspondance" from another party (I assume the copyright owner) that was objecting, so he asked The Guv for an address to forward it too. He went quiet after that.

Think there was something else going on with our Guv also - sure I remember a thread that was cut very short by Danny a month or so ago, saying he would no longer permit any mention in posts of Guvs new airline plans, but was unable to give the reason at this time... all very mysterious.

Mind you, I have been pretty much out of things for the last three months or so, maybe I missed something...
