Thanks GO-FLY

As a poor ATCO at BFS I have just booked my summer hols to Nice via EGSS with GO. Total cost £450.

The same fare with BMI £800

Cheers lads :) :)

Just interested from a professional point of view if you priced easyJet as well? (I work for them)

TwinJet,

Yes I also priced EasyJet. Worked out about £100 dearer. Very cheap to get to LPL or EGGW but the onward flights were definitely dearer. Go's flights to Nice were £70 rtn inc taxes. Some Easy seats were around £50 - £60 each way.

It's about time we had some more direct services from BFS to the continent. There is a HUGE market here looking for European connections. I particularly would love Paris. :) :)

Hello again, nightstop. I'm surpised, with the amount of flying you guys do, that you have time to get on the forum! Remember, the future's yellow, not just the engines. Cheers now!

Should have tried bmibaby from EMA. Cheaper even still.

Hi di Hi Herod! How are your French PA lessons coming along :) Our Company kindly provides an "always on" computer in HQ so we can log-on for a quick session of Ppruning inbetween sectors, most grateful for that

Angry Man,

Yes I could have used BMI from EMA but first I would needed to have flown there. And who knows whether there would have been fire cover at Belfast City or not!!! :) :) :)

And you'd have to of got the web site to work. Its still overloaded now.

1500 free seats to BCN went in under 4 hrs yesterday, so I not many seats left there then with 1 flight a day...

Fire cover at BHD...hmmm well it would have been nice of them to of hired a fire engine instead of sending us by TAXI to BFS, arriving with 5 min to spare!!!!

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but when it comes to connections to anywhere BFS had it going quite well there for a while, until everyone decided to pull out. GO & Easy Jet have got a reasonable set up established at BFS, however it doesn't help that the main carriers moved on.(just an opinion from a pax, but where would you be without us?!)
