Bristow Gulf Of Mexico Redundancies

On April 10th, in a meeting between the UNION and the company, the company formally gave a 30 day notice of their intent to make redundancies.

They are also offering a voluntary redundancy package.

Hope that it does not come down to point where the company has to furlough pilots...

We are already going through the same process in Bristow's European unit.

GOMEX Local 107 Union Officials have been given the mandatory 30 day notice by management of further furloughs depending on the outcome of contracts currently on for tender.

Talk has it that 20 or so pilots are on the line at the moment with the possibility of more.:(

Should be a very interesting next 30 days. Here's crossing fingers that Bristow wins the tenders.
