Hi There,

I guess if you are joining KAL, you applied through an agent, If I am correct, then the overview given by (most of) agencies are reliable.

I queried about the exact same job as you are about to embark on, to several agencies, their answers are all consistent with one another, PLUS, I compared these responses to the fact told by my friend who works at KAL as 737NG FO, and to my surprise, it matches.

Hope this gives you a slight idea of what to expect.

You will most probably be stuck at the position where you enter. Ie, no upgrades to the left seat - so I heard

Thanks for the info, but I'm still looking more info on where the plane overnights, hotels, schedules, crews. What is it like to work there?

Are there a lot of short overnights? Red-eyes? Problem areas that make people want to get out of the contract? Morale?

The KAL 737NG FO that I speak to says, the flying is so Intense, unfortunately he's not on PPRuNe. Cant really guess to what extent is that "Intense" means.

To me the cons is that no command opportunity.

KAL has just canceled recruitment on B737NG fleet. Does anyone has more info ?
