Dear Danny,
A perfectly harmless thread, of interest to the many PPruners who have had a go at the vertical plummeting approach to flying, with some nice reminiscences (which I was boiling up to adding to <img src="mad.gif" border="0"> is closed down at 17 posts. Pourquoi? No politics, no sex (excluding an oblique muffdiving allusion) and certainly no Guvnor.

Here, here Gravity Victim - I completely agree. Trouble is this is Danny's train set and he has the final say as to who plays with his locos and which stations thay call at.

If you look closely at the top of the thread, you will see the following message:

This topic has been transferred to this forum: Private Flying.

I guess that they felt that it had nothing to do with Aircrews and transferred it to a more appropriate area.

It is appropriate that it is moved, as mutt has pointed out, to the Private Flying forum - where private pilots will be more interested in it. Because they are the ones who normally do the flying.

You can still access it there and it's interest will almost certainly grow further there.

Well I'm a professional pilot AND a skydiver. I bet there are more of us about than expected.

OK, ok, I have dropped over 5000 skydivers over many years from nine different types of aircraft. The Red Devils, Royal Artillery, Royal Marines, Royal Green Jackets, Navy, Air Force - shall I go on?

The thread is in it's appropriate forum and that is where it stays. Where private pilots, who are wanting to build hours will get an understanding of it. Skydivers can't do without them - CAN they?
