Any ex NATS controllers transfer their CAA pension to Australia? Is it possible and if so were there any major problems encountered? Ta very much.

To take your pension from the NATS/CAA Scheme, you need to find an scheme that is QROPS registered.
Have a quick look at this link to HMRC (http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/PENSIONSCHEMES/qrops-list.htm), there's a PDF with a list of institutions.
I don't know if the Air Services scheme allows for direct portability, or if it's recognised by HM Revenue and Customs.
