Hi All,

Can anybody tell me about the operators of AN2's which are based in Mozambique, I think it might Green adventures?!

Or any details of companies that operate AN2's in africa. Company names, airports etc will be appreciated

There are no flyable AN2s operating in Moz that I know of.

I heard that the operation is in Zambia. To be based out of a small private strip in the north. One AN2 has arrived the other is on the ferry flight.

Does anyone have any info on the company or work they will be doing.

There are private operators based in Namibia. One his farm called "Naua Naua" and if I'm not mistaken another one on his farm called "Tigerpforte"

Air Kasai Ndolo Kinshasa Operate plenty An 2´s, from Tshikapa not Ndolo. They use pilots of Vodka drinking species, but try them you never know.

At Majunga FMNM airport in Madagaskar there was one flying looks like it got bent a litlle last time i was there about a week ago, three or four more standing there...

Reply is a bit late judging by the previous dates but anyway.. AN2 with a Hungarian Reg. and lekker colour scheme was parked at Ndola for short while beginning April. A lady pilot, who ferried it all the way from Hungary, paxed with us to Joburg somewhere middle April. Chatted to her while walking through customs and according to her it has gone to Mozambique. Where in Moz? Dunno unfortunately

Saw an An2 parked on the side apron in Maun, looked like it had a 5N- reg, not sure if that's correct. Looked like it had been parked for a while.

I saw one in Mbuji Mayi DRC. She was a yellow beast I believe doing general freight within the country. Flown by a rugged lookin Russian. 9Q-CFR....

You are not correct. Check, how much PRIMUS you drink each evening!!
Ok. I know pilots from Estonia, Luthania, Belarus, Croatia, Russia which used that planes. Some photo from RDC.
