BAHF C-54 Skymaster Airshow Season Complete

Now back in the hangar the BAHF beautiful C-54 Skymaster will be checked out & inspected to get ready & things in place for the 2001 airshow season. The 2000 season was a busy one for us as we did 28 events and as always our volunteer force showed their great support & dedication! We will be adding a few new displays & a new showcase this winter to add to the Berlin Airlift flying exibit & memorial. Hi Jim. I'm an aged ATCO and (long) lapsed aircraft spotter. However, the DC-4/C-54 remains my all time favourite aeroplane. Last year my wife (also a lapsed spotter) were heading down the M11 motorway on our way home from Norfolk when she suddenly said "Crikey, there's a DC-4 in the circuit at Duxford". Simultaneously she stamped her foot on the floor and we arrived just as you taxied in. Oh boy - I shed a few tears that day. Many thanks for the extreme pleasure..
