Notice how quiet it has been on the line with regards to the matter. I am thinking of the worse already. Well at least we still have jobs. (which is what all the guys I have flown with seems to say )

I think they're busy borrowing lots of smoke a mirrors from Cirque du Soleil.

Load are still high, profit should be from the last financial year regardless of the current situation...

Notice how they paint the gloomy picture on the weekly updates. Wonder if it is smoke and mirrors or something funny is going on...

Note that they couldn't be arsed with last weeks weekly update. Too busy pressuring the MEL guys to resign

My guess is 2 weeks habibs, so no loss of face.

I'm guessing about 500mil US profit, about a third of the target set last year, hence no profit share. The weaker first half profit was about 15% of last years and although forward bookings for the second half were probably strong, the rise of the USD killed the usual gain associated with all the pax buying from the stronger currencies of the EU, Auz, etc.

I'd be totally SHOCKED if we got any sort of profit share, with the target being inevitably missed. Like I said in an earlier post, you have to weigh what's stronger in this region - greed or saving face? I'm still sticking with greed.

I'm with Craic Ore on this one,but I'm going to go with the face saving option(2 weeks)
captjd- target reached only with the wildest of book keeping(BS) for short.

AA boys did very well this year with bonus and pay raise, they might be higher than EK now.

Hopefully 2 weeks at least or more. Would Emirates really not care to lose face with Etihad?
