Hy guys,

Does any body know if it is possible to use PACOTS tracks 2 and 3 between WMKK and KLAX as well as between WSSS and KSFO?

Yes, you can fly either Track 2 or 3 to KLAX or KSFO pretty much all the time. Fukuoka Center and Oakland Center publish notams daily for all of the east and west bound Pacots. These notams will clearly spell out any restrictions to either destination as well as routings from the end of the track to KSFO or KLAX. If you don't have access to these notams, send me a PM with your AFTN and/or SITA and/or e-mail address and I will send you a sample copy.

OC.....just had to laugh when I saw your response with today's tracks restricting LAX traffic to track 3 contradicting what I had just said! Yesterday both tracks 2 and 3 were available for LAX. I would say that the majority of the time you can use either, particularly when the tracks are separated only by one degree. As you say, look out for the remarks -they will bite you if you don't.

HI NBNW

For Long Hauls don't take track number as God given Mate
A few min reading the RMK and check'in the crossover period
HELPS alot

or else its NO GO and wasted efforts

Hi guys,

Yes I do have access to these NOTAMs and now it's pretty clear to me - thanks a lot for your perfect clarification.
