Hello All

This is only tangentially aviation-related but I hope you will take the time to help me.

I am looking for very effective, flexible insulation material and it occured to me that a/c really ought to have the most effective available given the size/weight/flexibility constraints ( although the cost might then be a problem !)

Any help, especially if with any "U" values or lamda values much appreciated also any manufacturers/brand names.

Thanks in advance.

I can't believe for one moment that any aircraft material will be cost effective , it's all REALLY expensive for what it is ( due to the certification process ) .

I would suggest trying anything else , depending on exactly what it is to be used for ??????? there must be a cheaper alternative

The likes of the Cessna stuff isn't that expensive, but is not that great either, very similar to the stuff you put in the loft.
