In your country, are the rebated tickets we get as airline staff counted as fringe benefits for taxation purposes.

I'm mainly looking at countries in Europe. When replying, could you just kindly state from which country you come from!

Germany taxes the difference between the amount the employee pays and the cheapest regular airfare available to the public.

One interesting aspect is that on long haul it is only marginally cheaper in economy than in business class.

In Holland you are taxed 50% on the difference of what you actually pay (if less) with that of an ID90 of the full unrestricted Y fare. Not applicable to genuine company travel.
