Hello folks,

Just a thought crossing my mind - as I am in the process of converting my FAA CPL to a JAR license - if I do the 14 theory subjects in say... Austria, will the results be honoured in for example the UK, so I could do the flying part there?

Or is that not possible, and therefore another gorgeous proof how necessary and well-thought JAR-FCL are? :suspect:

All the training should currently be done in one state but under EARSA it looks like you can mix n' match once the last person out of the JAA office switches the lights off in June.

Thx for the reply Paco, much appreciated.

I'm not intending to do it in more than one state, however depending on what all the flight schools quote me here I may as well ship myself to the UK, that's why.

Cheers
