It's not codeshare but its a step in the right direction for both carriers on either side of the Pacific. Perhaps by year end we could see code share plus VB join SkyTeam.

MOST airlines have interline agreements with each other, so it is hardly ground breaking.

ie Qantas have interline agreements with Delta already....

Now if they had of announced code sharing or frequent flyer benefits - that would have been interesting!

Yes it is a good step in the right direction, better however if DL did not start the Pacific run and just co shared with VA. I think there are talks re this ;)

Wait for the experts and pprune know it alls to sh!tcan this one...all doom and gloom for VA.
Word filtering back indicates all is going quite positive for the boys and gals at VA. Well done team!:ok:

Virgin Blue share price closed 13% up at days trade end so the market liked the announcement.
