From what i know is if you get a job offer you can apply to the Canadian Embassy for a work visa. I don't think the company has to apply for you but check that.

Do you really want to work in canada, it's good but hard to find jobs. Europe is a lot better in my opinion

Good Luck

Canadians are very welcome at Crossair, based in Switzerland. We fly to Greece (Thessolonika - forgive the spelling)
Crossair are actively recruiting at the moment and will sort out Swiss residency for you. There are two catches:
1. You have to be type rated on one of the current or expected types. That is Emb 145, Saab 340, Saab 2000, BAe146 or Avro RJ, MD-80 (or DC-9) or (for the future - Airbus A320)
2. The salary is not fantastic. It sounds OK but Switzerland is not famous for being a cheap place to live. The salary is subject to further revision next year and will likely go up due to the retention rate.
If you have a rating, I suggest you look at the website and give them a call.

Bad pay and 90h a month! One reason why Crossair always short an Pilots http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/tongue.gif

Try Skyservice. It's a Canadian company with crews based in the UK working for Airtours. Don't know what the pay is but Airtours provide accomodation, car and living allowance on top of Skyservice salary.

Hey RHOADS....I'm another canadian pilot looking into working overseas. Also hopefully Greece. Any info you get I'd very much appreciate.

I've only got a frozen atpl with 1000hrs and little multi but worth a try.

If i do have a British passport does it change anything?
