I am interested in how companies other than my own employer handle the distribution of flying in December. For example, a function of our computer bidding , “load beginning”, allows senior pilots to do just that. There are no restrictions on taking summer holidays plus Christmas or Easter or any statutory holidays for that matter. As a result , junior pilots, i.e. the bottom third , have not only no chance of Christmas off, but receive days off limited only by Gov’t rules. That is three days off in seventeen. Makes for some real ugly blocks. What is out there? I'm not a junior pilot, just trying to find some options. Thanks
