I am trying to obtain a video of the above documentary for possible use as a training aid. If any ppruners have a copy they can let me look at I would be very grateful.

Either call or email.

Was that the one about various New York ATCs?

Scary stuff - especially the speed at which they rattle off the clearances. I reckon ATCOs should be paid more than aircrew - especially bearing in mind the extortionate overflight/nav charges some countries make!

Thanks for that Guv. Please can you now let your feelings be known to NATS management who've just come up with such a s**t pay offer!

THAT as a training aid??? NO! The only thing that you could sensibly use it for would be here's how not to do it!

I remember the first time that it was shown, it caused much hilarity at Latcc especially the fish tank sketch. I thought it was a "pilot",sorry guys, for a new comedy series

I remember some wag at LATCC put a mechanical goldfish bowl in the playpen so that we could all unwind and not need to go down to the local hostelry for cocktals before driving home....
