Don't know about everyone else, but all i see is that disappointing little red cross a dozen times. No pics in sight.

If i'm doing something wrong, can someone let me know how to fix the problem so i can see the pics.

Cheers

edit: Flog, same deal with the "part 2" pics thread.

goin'flyin. Not that I'm an expert ..... but I suspect you have a firewall problem?

Just checked the picture properties. There may be a problem with that particular photo hosting web site........

cant see anything here either! on another sadder note, i heard that quite a few aircraft were written off in the passing storms on the Saturday night!

No pictures for me either !!

Re the weather damage... 3 u/l's flipped - one a w/o. Minor damage to a few others due flying objects! All VH aircraft ok.

Interesting that the Army tent blew away and the Scout tent nearby held firm!!

Oooo...now people know who I am...(if they hadn't guessed already)

Edit again: Right click "Show Picture" seems to work for me (even I'm getting the red cross sometimes!!)

100 000 lbs of thrust times 4 will get anything airborne.
If Howard Hughes had the chance to strap a few of those engines on the Spruce Goose it would have been a regular sight in Sydney Harbour :hmm:

More like 40,000 lbs times four! That defies physics

Sorry mate, you are correct. 40,440 lbs each to be exact. I was thinking of something else.
Still would have satisfied Mr. Hughes though.
