Hey Guys,

Im just curious, Im just about to apply for my first ASIC and i see the part where they look into you history, traffic and criminal ect. I have a pending court case but with the courts backed up at the moment that could take a while to be resolved, because mine is in relation to violence (drunk pub fight) will i be denied an ASIC?

Thanks

Possibly, assault charges can be viewed as a security risk. At the same time, I would imagine many people in the aviation industry have something like this in there past, so hopefully someone can help you around this.

No not until there is a verdict, the presumption of innocence still applies in this country.

Answer all the questions literally and honestly and you won't have a problem. Do you have any criminal convictions? = NO (as posted you are innocent till proven guilty) Anything pending? = YES (attach any relevant info)
If you are straight up you will be OK. Good Luck
