Just curious if Canadian Pilots hired by Cathay are allowed to be LAX based when upgraded to FO, or do you require US citizenship?
I know that CX has a cargo base in LA, but not sure about a passenger base?

You must be joking mate!!
ALL recruitement put on hold at CX.
In fact, LAY-OFFS to be announced as soon as next week, mainly for freighter guys and a few old-timers from ex Oasis (who shoudn't be in CX in the 1st place)!!:yuk:

..there are no pilot layoffs in the 'offing' (:}). This is self-manufactured crisis. Loads are high, revenue is acceptable, new aircraft are coming. This is NOTHING compared to SARS. Don't let the top floor get under your skin children...:ok:
