May I just mention please,
we have our Open Day at Tangmere Military Aviation Museum this coming Sunday 15th March.
There will be ( weather permitting of course ) some flypasts, hard to say what yet - but the Battle of Britain heritage usually brings interesting aircraft !
Google 'Tangmere' for the rather impressive museum exhibits, or really just a tiny idea of them -we're very proud of what we've got at this historic base, which of course played such a part in the Battle of Britain, and SOE inserting / recovering agents from occupied France, the post-war world speed records - the actual Meteor & afterburning Hunter are there.
It would actually take 2-3 solid days to see most exhibits - I work there & I still keep seeing new things !
So, the open day is a very good 'taster' of the museum, and of course the proceeds go to an extremely worthy cause.
Even better, it's only £1.00 per person on the day, towards the 'Help For Heroes' charity for our wounded of the present day - please give more to them if you can.

Thankyou Mods, that's the last time until next year...
I do push everyone relevant towards PPRuNe, honest !
