Hi, I was wondering about the DGCA class 1 phys for the UAE- is it required of all expats (FAA,JAA) with time in type? How would it compare with the FAA?
for example:
Does the doc dilate your eyeballs with that gunk and look inside- or does he just use the flashlight and have you read a chart?
Do they make you run 5 miles on a tread mill or anything weird?
Just wondering, cause I might do some cargo flying over there, and while I'm no slouch, I'm not as young and robust as I once was either and don't exactly want to take a USAF type phys.
Just to clarify, I'm not talking about the Emirates Airline interview, just the basic gov't requirements. Thanks. PM if you like.
