There has been a lot of debate on this site recently about Local vs Expat CSO.
A lot of people has styated what expats get paid but no one has said what the local pay rate is... can anyone give us an anonymous figure of what the CXCP people can expect to be paid?

Cadet SOs earn exactly the same salary as a DESO, but no expatriate allowances (housing allowance, education..etc)

that $400,000 PA, is that on expect terms or local?

400K is before flying duty pay.

By 2nd year expect to earn around $500,000 pa including FDP.

I figured I didn't need to spell it out, other than they get paid the same...it sounded to me like you knew what expats got paid. Therefore by complex powers of deduction, you could work out what locals get paid as well.

No need for the sarcaism, i said lots of people have stated what expacts get paid... but it wasnt rank specific.
I was simply trying to find out if local SO's got paid half of what i knew about the expats. ie, HK$200,000 for local. :ugh:
