Type Rating Endorsement

Hey all...
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, But how long does it take for the UK CAA to endorse a licence with a Type?
And what is the easiest and quickest way to request for one.

Once you've got all the pieces of paperwork from your company (or TR provider), if you turn up at Gatwick first thing, it can be done on the day there and then. Usually ready by mid-afternoon.

Mine and my colleagues' were anyway.

Not sure for applications by post though.
