Don't worry Sass, they all love us now. We will have meaningfull conversations over a cup of tea and share all our knowledge.

Anyway he likes the helicopter he has now, so that one is dead in the water.

Ah ain't life grand.

Sunday morning, snow is falling, vis is falling and they have scrubbed for the day, going to be a good day after all.

The White Hawk is part of the existing fleet (usually used by staffers rather than the CINC). It's interesting though that a Large Manufacturer of aerospace systems has its security HQ in Bethesda... :E

If the document isn't marked with a security classification then the information isn't classified. Looks like some material handed out during training that most likely applies to most H-60s.

No Biggy, the Iranians have a lot more interesting info than that, the original Back Hawks did hot and high trials in Iran in the late 70's, and the Iranians were going to get the Black Hawk before the revolution, they have done things like making there own composite blades for there Chinooks, mods to fit TOW missiles on navy AB212's,fitting Maverick on SH3 Seakings (all this done in the 80's), saw lots of interesting thing at the govmt helo factory in Tehran 4 years ago, don't underestimate the Iranians even with a nut case in charge!!!
Remember they got all there training ,equip and manufacturing ability from the USA!!!!

The MH-60S is NOT the presidential aircraft but the latest US Navy variant...even worse security breach some might say.
The presidential variant is the VH-60 and normally is used for back up staff etc,not for the president himself.

Blackhawk 9, just to keep the record factual: " Before the revolution", we flew the original S-67 Blackhwawk to Iran as part of an overall European marketing demonstration trip for that aircraft. While they showed some interest, what we were not aware of was that Bell/US Army was in the final stages of a negotiation for a sale of the 214 and Cobra. That was a decade before the first flight of the UH-60.
