An interesting article in Flight International:

Meanwhile, in another article it has been confirmed that the first Hawk T2 aircraft have been received by the MoD; 4-6 will go to Valley for instructor work but the other 22-24 will go into storage at Shawbury. but work to lay the foundations for a new Hawk T2 hangar only began during the week that the first aircraft were accepted.

You do need to lay the concrete sooner. Now where did we hear that recently?

Curiously it happened when the F4 was delivered too. The hangar centre was strong enough for a Vulcan but they parked the F4 on the edge of the hangar and more concrete needed to be laid.
