Apparantly, employess would be happy to accept a flash new job title instead of a pay rise. . .. .As an FO, does that mean I can now call myself a "Deputy Airborne Communications and Movement-Control Manager, with Special Reponsibilites for Air/Ground Interface Operations"?. . . . <small>[ 07 March 2002, 18:39: Message edited by: A Very Civil Pilot ]</small>

Lots of management books talk about using this strategy to control (they call it "reward") employees. What a load of BS!. .. .SHOW ME THE MONAAAAAY!
Wonder how many of those managers would be pleased if the same thing happened to them. It's just another sham from those who think that their employees are too stupid to notice how cheap they are. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="mad.gif" /> . .. .SCREW THE TITLE, GIVE ME THE CA$H. .. .(That way I can spend it on flying...)
I recall a First Officer on the F27 using the job title "Assistant Curator in a Transport Museum". You still out there, Don?
