Please get advice from a company that is used to flying into these events. I have flown into Cheltenham festival a few times (certainly no expert ppl.h) I employed a 1000+ hour cplh pilot last year to take me in and out of Cheltenham and that person managed to start to go in the reverse order of the holding pattern. This action was corrected straight away after I pointed this out and the fellow passengers didn't know any difference. The action of pointing this out to the pilot was difficult in some respects for me as I knew this pilot was a lot more experinced than me. Prior to that flight and prior to me flying into Cheltenham I had completed this trip on numerous occasions with other pilots hence defintley not trying to suggest I have the same experience as the other pilots on this forum, just suggesting that pilots might get some surprise at how busy it gets and the need to follow the correct procedures provided by helipad.:uhoh:
