Earlier thread was transfered to Questions,anyway it should remain here,because the rumour is GF is getting 6 B767-400's for their 9 B767-200's and 3 B777-200ER's for their 5 A340's.!!!
Its all happening in the year 2002!!!!!!!

Great! The only airline I know of that is getting smaller while everybody else is expanding

Very interesting. I have also heard GF is interested in the 767-400. Hal3 you mean replacing the 767-300s......
That would leave GF short haul fleet with the 320....unless they are thinking of NG 737?
I thought Gulf Air likes to buy Boing and then sell them to DL!

My guess is that Boeing is winning from Airbus and this in the aftermath of the A 320 crash.
