The great blue sausage with the communist-looking etchings has arrived!

In other words, Britannia's first 757 has started flying in the new livery (GBYAN).

I don't know, in spite of all the talk that they looked "old fashioned", I think they used to look rather nice, actually.

I for one prefer the old livery.. It might be old-fashioned but it is a classic..

Looks like Turk Hava Yollari got a new livery.. :( :( :(

G-BYAP was operating through NCL over the weekend. Friday afternoon returning for a nightstop, then early ALC on Saturday.
Friday 14th / Saturday 15th.

Looked very smart in the dark with the floodlights beaming down upon her.

I like it !

The new livery has been at BRS quite a bit recently and sometimes it was parked next to an old school 757. I have to say out of the dozens of staff canvassed NOBODY liked the new scheme apart from a solitary lovely young man in Cabin Crew who is rather confused about himself...

I understand though that the old scheme was one of the most expensive liveries in the business...?

the bottom gets dirty, the top gets hot...

Looks a cross between KLM/BMI. Not very imaginative or original. I bet it has taken someone years to come up with that design too.

The old livery was very striking and quite stylish. However, I quite like it.

I'm with you, Brenoch

the old livery was stylish. Watch out for unusual fatigue cracks as the poor old birds shudder with embarrassment in their new clothes.

Well, I've seen one in the flesh at last (two actually). The shade of blue is better than I thought it would be, but I can't get my head round the red thingy on the tail.

Still, they all look the same on the inside, and I suppose we've all still got jobs.

I've just brought a pair of new "uniform" socks from Clinton Cards with a big "smiley" mouth on.

They read "I smile because I don't have any idea what's going on" <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I lined up after this newly painted ship on 23 at STN this morning at about 0830, in a word - horrible. Is the designer the same bloke who came up with those awful BA 'multi-cultural' tails?
Why do firms change a successful brand image?
The new design is pants.
